Introducing Photomatica

Photomatica is a stock image service for photographers graphic artists, illustrators, cinematographers and animators. Photomatica provides photographers (et al) with all the functionality required to negotiate, transact, and deliver digital images over the Internet.

Traditional stock image agencies have long enjoyed an advantageous relationship with photographers, requiring them to apply for representation, be selected on merit, and make a significant commitment to the agency in order to maintain the relationship. Agencies also take possession of the photographer's original images and demand exclusive representation.

The vast majority of photographers are therefore not represented by stock agencies. They may have an insufficient number of quality images to meet the agency standards, or be unwilling to let such a large body of work leave their possession and control.

Photomatica does not require large commitments from photographers, nor does it take possession and control of a photographers images. Photomatica is a service that photographers can use to increase sales and get exposure to a worldwide audience.
